Covid-19 Response
Thank you for taking the time to read the following Covid-19 policies and procedures that have been instituted to protect our mutual health and safety before scheduling your appointment.
These practices are based on the recommendations of massage professional organizations and medical personnel. Massage is a close contact activity, and has inherent risk for disease transmission. These precautions are in place to protect you and your contacts as well as myself and mine.
Arrival
Please do not come for your appointment if you or your close contacts are ill or have been ill in the last 48 hours. I do not charge a missed appointment fee for illness, including last minute cancellations.
When you enter the building come straight to my office where I may take your temperature with a touchless thermometer before we begin. I will be taking my own temperature daily as well.
You will then be asked to fill out a (now simplified) Covid-19 specific intake/waiver form at each visit.
Personal Protective Equipment
I will be wearing a mask throughout your appointment. I require that clients wear a mask except while face-down on the table. I will have masks available if you do not have one.
Additional Measures
I require clients to be vaccinated against Covid-19 except those with medical waivers.
I continue to be rigorous in office sanitation, thoroughly cleaning surfaces and changing linens between clients.
Touchless hand sanitizer will be available at the entrance to my office and I ask that you sanitize on the way in and out. I also practice thorough hand hygiene.
I will be running a HEPA air purification system in my office for increased ventilation.
